On 3 March 2026, the sky over Bali will offer something truly extraordinary. Not only will we witness a rare Total Lunar Eclipse, but the night will also feature a stunning planetary parade — with several bright planets clearly visible in the evening sky.

This means we won’t just be watching the Moon turn red. We’ll be observing multiple celestial bodies aligned across the sky — shining brilliantly above the ocean horizon. Depending on conditions, bright planets such as Venus, Jupiter, and Mars may be visible to the naked eye, and even more breathtaking through telescopes.

It is rare for a total lunar eclipse to coincide with a night where multiple bright planets are also well-positioned for observation. For Bali — especially from a secluded beach with minimal light pollution in South Bali — this becomes more than an event.
