Introduction to the Event

Indonesia’s Independence Day on August 17th is a time to celebrate freedom, hope, and new beginnings. This year, we’re marking the occasion with a special night of sky lanterns and stargazing under the Milky Way.

Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to ride across Mount Batur’s black lava fields, release lanterns into the night sky, and gaze into the universe through powerful telescopes. We’ll leave behind the city lights and venture into Bali’s wild side, where the Milky Way shines at its brightest and the stars feel almost within reach.

As Milky Way season soon comes to an end, this will be the last AstroQuest Milky Way edition we host in 2025. We’ll see you again next year for more cosmic adventures.
